"Other side of "the veil".. " Matthew 27:51 [as Christ died on the Cross] says, "Behold, the veil of the temple was rent (torn) in twain (two) from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent." (This curtain separated the second room called the Holy of Holies from the first room, the Holy Place.)

First in Hebrews 6:19 it mentions "our hope" (Jesus Christ) ... Hebrews 6:19, NIV: We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, Hebrews 6:19, ESV: We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters into the inner place behind the curtain, Hebrews 6:19, KJV: Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil; Hebrews 6:19, NASB: This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and reliable and one which enters within the veil.

Every year on the DAY OF ATONEMENT the High Priest went into the Holy of Holies to sprinkle blood on the Mercy seat with is the cover for the Arc of the Covenant .. the most sacred place on earth to the Israelites/Jews .. NO ONE but the High Priest could go in and VERY CAREFULLY .. some historians have even said they tied a rope to the foot of the Priest "just in case he did something wrong" [BTW: Physically, the High Priest could not be blemished in any way .. NO IMPERFECTIONS on his body!!!)

Christ was our High Priest ... He ENTERED behind the "veil" which divided the Holy Place and the Holy of Holies (2 little rooms in the middle or end of the tabernacle or temple) .. the Holy of Holies was where GOD dwelt - and the priest went into the VERY PRESENCE of God and sprinkled the Mercy seat .. or Arc of the Covenant .. it was the ONLY time a human could legitimately enter the Presence of God ..

Christ did that for us (in the gospels we read at the death of CHrist the VEIL was rent - from top to bottom .... (it was very high and very thick .. VERY!) .. such so .. that it would be impossible for any human to tear it in two ... but this happened at the death of Christ (look up "the veil was rent - from the top to bottom) .....what this meant was all who are IN CHRIST .... could now personally enter into the Presence of God .. like we are THIS VERY MOMENT ..... it is highly sacred .. which we could easily take for granted .. hence, we have power with GOD ... we no longer .. . trail behind HIM ... or are FAR OFF .. He is in us and we are IN HIM .. (Revelation 1 reveals WE are "kings and priests unto God" now ... ) ... respectfully - and carefully I say .. we are closer to God than any Israelite in the Old Testament ... this is part of the New Covenant (New Testament) .... we are the Church .. ecclesia in Greek in NT means "called out ones" it is translated "Church" ... so we are intimately involved with GOD .. and it is a TWO way street .. that is why in Acts 2 there is a LOT OF DRAMA - but this drama was enhanced somewhat ... because it was the inauguration of the Christian Church (Christ followers called out) ... we NOW possess individual and collective FAVOR with GOD !! Power: if you please! Acts 1 Jesus said "don't depart from Jerusalem until you are endued with POWER" .. that word power is "Dynomo" like dynamite!!! (interesting huh?) ... the Church IS without any doubt the most POWERFUL entity on earth - for reasons I have just mentioned ... we referred Acts 2 today in Church ... I now refer to Acts 3 .... this is where people (after being filled with the Holy Spirit) ... walked by a crippled beggar and said "silver and gold have I none but such as I have I give unto you - rise and walk - and crippled man .. rose and walked" ... the POWER of the Church .. again I repeat in the early days of the Church the Apostles did more of this .. to VERIFY they had POWER WITH GOD >> ...

If we look at the works of God in the OT we begin to see what we HAVE ,,,, God who brought MILLIONS out of bondage in Egypt and parted the Red Sea .. (we have read it so much that we don't think much about it) .. but it was a phenomenon - a power against nature and unheard of .... God made the Sun to "stand still" another "out of this world and our league of abilities !!!!! Prayer - is indeed simple but extremely complex .. it is GOD we pray to - ONE who "can removes mountains if we have faith the size of a mustard seed" .. and ON AND ON ...... This all begins with the fact that we are IN CHRIST ... GOD in us and we in HIM .... and HE has PROMISED NEVER to turn his back on us .... NEVER NEVER NEVER ..

No wonder the scripture says "Blessed is the NATION whose God is the Lord" ...... no wonder ... "The Church IS - UNEQUIVOCALLY the GREATEST POWER on earth !!!!!!!!!!!!
